Job Description

Digital Workplace Scrum Master (EMEA) - Customer Virtual Client

Our client, a global provider of IT services requires a Digital Workplace Scrum master to plan a digital IT workplace upgrade. Encompassing an upgrade from Windows 7 and Office 2010 to Windows 10 and Office 2016. The project will also introduce a virtual desktop environment enabling resiliency, security and flexibility to our global workforce. The new solution is called Virtual Client 3.0. The project is running across three regions, Americas, APAC and EMEA.

Service Objective:

Ensure quality in project management, alignment, dependency management and delivery across EMEA IT Workplace upgrade project. Report into global project lead.

Global Operating Model

  • When migrating to AVC the support model required will change.
  • Evaluate and plan new global workplace support model
  • Execute and implement new support model globally and locally

Service Acceptance

  • The project will deliver the services into production via the Service Acceptance process
  • Evaluate and plan Service Acceptance sign off by BAU
  • Execute and implement Service Readiness globally and locally for sign off (e.g. Service-now, ITSM)

ITSM

  • Incident, Change, Problem and Request processes required.
  • Evaluate and plan IT Service Management Readiness in Service Now and GIAM
  • Execute and implement Service Readiness globally and locally for sign off (e.g. Service-now, ITSM)

Service Description:

Proposal for tasks / deliverables

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan using the agile framework to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial decision.

Key Requirements:

  • 10 years' experience in IT and Infrastructure projects
  • Previously delivered international projects
  • Worked with third parties to jointly deliver results
  • Strong working experience and knowledge of Agile / Scrum
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
