Job Description
Our client, a global provider of IT services, requires a Temporary EUC Administrator/ Desktop Engineer to provide EUC services at the corporate office in Maidenhead. This role is starting immediately this week for 3-4 weeks until 21st December. Ideally we are looking for candidates who are located in Maidenhead or who live within an easy commute to Maidenhead. Monday - Friday business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding end user challenges
- Fixing local desktop / machine related issues
- Assist / perform troubleshooting within EUC scope
- Comprehending challenges to end user touch points and propose solutions to mitigate the same
- Identifying possible improvements to existing KPI's, and deliver the same as agreed with the customer
- Need to keep up to date customer's equipment inventory and issue logs
Key Requirements
- 2-3 years' minimum experience as EUC / Desktop / Windows engineer
- Windows administration skills
- Knowledge of basic cabling & how to provide touch support
- Basic understanding of In House applications (based on on-the-job training)
- Imaging / Building Desktop skills
- Printer management skills
- Basic Knowledge of Active directory user management and GPO
- Experience working with offshore team
- Should have a knack of understanding KPI's / key business drivers, and how they affect the client organisation from a technology viewpoint
- Should be able to collaborate with wider IT team / third parties from a technology standpoint, other than providing routine EUC support
- Should have capabilities to identify and deliver proactive improvements
- Flexible to adjust with changing technology landscape
- Strong customer service skills - this is a client facing role
- Strong communication, written & verbal skills required
- Good team member
- Flexible to work odd hours on occaision if required
