Job Description

Our client, an established investment firm based in London's West End is seeking an experienced, motivated bilingual IT Administrator to join their friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to have a role with high-level responsibility, reporting to the company Director along with variety in their career, as the successful applicant will be solely responsible for maintaining the company's IT Network, server, security systems and website. The organisation has a strong focus on self-development and continual training, so you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting all technical problems, including hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the Service Desk
  • Managing company software
  • Update network applications
  • Carry out maintenance and upgrades on company systems
  • Maintain daily back up tape
  • Escalating issues where appropriate
  • Responding to queries and providing support and training to resolve common problem
  • Setting up new users
  • Monitoring company internet and email use
  • Assisting in development of training coursework and materials
  • Attending self development courses to develop and keep skills and knowledge current
  • Work on special projects when required

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Fluent Mandarin and English
  • Strong, varied I.T experience, including troubleshooting software, hardware, printer and network issues
  • Experience of desktop support and guiding inexperienced users through their queries
  • Experience of providing training and improving efficiencies and lowering user error through guidance
  • Eligible to work in the UK as sponsorship cannot be provided for this role
