Job Description

Our client, a global provider of IT services, requires highly experienced Move Group Managers with experience of large migration or consolidation programs for their client based in London.

This is a 1 year temporary contract to start ASAP. Weekend work and on call is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact with the customer for discussing, sharing and agreeing on the move group contents.
  • Coordinating with the customer app controllers to update the master sheet of the migration plans
  • Point of contact with the customer for discussing, sharing and agreeing on the move group contents.

  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating an end-to-end migration schedule (working along with the move group management team)
  • Tracking the dependencies for different move groups with the customer (like non fleet project, releases)
  • Updating the migration schedule based with the customer application controller coordination
  • Tracking the completeness of schedule with respect to DC exit, Application migration and reducing physical footprint
  • Document the risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and decisions in consultation with the application controllers
  • Coordinate with the program governance team for appropriate reporting, escalation and support requirements
  • Represent TCS in the necessary forums / meetings (based on the guidance from the program governance team)
  • To manage a team comprising of migration specialists

Key Requirements:

  • Program Management Experience
  • Should have worked in Large migration or consolidation program
  • Excellent stakeholder Management
  • Track & report the program status
  • Own the RAID register for the milestone & Program
  • To work collaboratively with the customer management team
  • Communication, assertive & Team Leading
  • Highly flexible with ability to be on call and work out of hours when required
