Job Description

We are an established, growing boutique recruitment agency based in Victoria. Due to experiencing year on year growth, we are expanding and seeking a motivated Administrator with a can-do attitude to join our small and friendly team.

The right person will be an independent worker with bags of initiative, a cheerful personality and a high level of resilience. This is a fast paced role and suits someone who enjoys variety in a busy and demanding (but fun) environment. Previous experience in a similar role would be very highly regarded but full training will be given.

Working hours could either be 9am-6pm or 9.30am-6.30pm

The role includes

  • Being a first point of contact for candidates and contractors
  • Updating and maintaining the in-house recruitment system and ensuring all candidate records are completed with required documentation attached
  • Providing support to the recruitment team (creating job adverts, liaising with candidates, arranging interviews etc)
  • Running background checks on new contractors
  • Issuing assignment details and contracts
  • Liaising with our legal team and updating our contracts & registration forms in line with new legislation
  • General office management, including ordering stationery and ensuring all office equipment is fully functional
  • Compiling and running of reports
  • Running payroll and invoicing in the absence of the Finance Administration Manager
  • Assisting the team with ad hoc duties (i.e. website admin, database configuration, administrating marketing campaigns, responding to third parties' reference requests, liaising with our IT department, ordering gifts for clients etc.)

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Some experience in a Recruitment Agency (or HR) Administration role is desirable
  • Good academic background. A degree in any discipline would be a plus but is not a requirement.
